Thank you

This amazing day would not have been possible without the generous support of Heidi and her team of instructors at Walton & Frinton Yacht Club.

We are extremely proud of, and impressed by, the young cadets, of the club, who volunteered their time to share their passion for sailing with the group of visiting children.

Thank you to all our supporters who donated and enabled us to provide a comprehensive snack bag for each child and the cadets.

A special thank you to Steve for giving his time to capture this event and produce all of these amazing photos.

Thank you to the staff of Hilltop Junior School for organising the transport and giving part of their weekend to accompany the children and provide support for those that needed it.

Finally, thank you to Taylor Milburn Financial for the constant and ongoing support.

Why does GAFHA organise experience days?

Giving young people the chance to experience new things, push their boundaries and find their limits, helps children grow into confident and inquisitive adults.

GAFHA exists to encourage and support young people to become valuable members of their community.

Who is GAFHA?

GAFHA is a not-for-profit community group, using the experience of its founders to bring communities together.

What does the future look like for GAFHA?

With the help of communities, businesses and social groups we will continue to offer new experiences and support young people to achieve their goals and broaden their horizons.

How is GAFHA funded?

GAFHA is funded through donations and support from the community. There are no paid employees and every penny raised goes towards the good causes we support. Every event we  offer and arrange is the work of volunteers.

What is the greatest challenge for GAFHA?

We aren't short of ideas or enthusiasm but raising funds to pay for events, transport, and other expenses is our biggest challenge.

How can I help GAFHA?

Volunteers are always welcome and their help can come in many ways. Speak to your boss about sponsoring an event. Speak to your community groups about offering an activity or experience for young people. Speak to family, friends, and work colleagues about GAFHA and what we're trying to achieve.
